SUMMARY:Watchnight Service
DESCRIPTION:The Watchnight Service begins at 11.30 pm on Christmas Eve\, December 24. Before the service\, you can join us in the Church to sing some Christmas Carols at 11.15 pm or you can come along at any time from 10.30 pm onwards to the Hall for tea\, coffee and mince pies. \nThe Watchnight Service itself finishes just after midnight on Christmas Day. It is a  quiet\, thoughtful service and often the lights in the Church are gradually dimmed as we welcome\, into the darkness Jesus\, the light of the world and mark the memory of that momentous moment when God was born as a human being -son of Mary\, Son of God.
